Best regards. Dear all, I believe that what's happened is that your printer (a Microsoft Word 2010) uses a different encoding from PDF itself (a PDF 7.5). The Adobe converter that will read the content from the PDF file doesn't know about any special encoding and simply gives you plain text, which you then have to convert to text before sending it over the Internet. A quick example, if I had a PDF file with my text with the text “Hello, World” and a PDF of the text “Hello, World, Encoding=utf-8” and I ran Adobe Photoshop to print the PDF I wouldn't have a problem, but if I ran Adobe Reader on the PDF and opened it to open the PDF page I would get the error “error opening: file not found” (as is shown in the image above).
